The picture you see on the box lid is NOT the puzzle picture but holds the clues to what the puzzle picture is. To complete the puzzle, imagine what the character in the box lid can see.
Look into the scene and imagine you are the horrified lady. What she can see beyond and including the experts is what the puzzle picture depicts.
